Google AI Mode adds more Connected Apps, including YouTube Music

Google has expanded its AI powered Search by adding support for more third-party apps in AI Mode. Users can now connect apps like YouTube Music, Canva, and Instacart to complete everyday tasks without leaving the search experience. For example, they can create custom playlists, build grocery carts, or find design templates just by chatting with AI, without switching between different apps. The feature is currently rolling out to users in the US, and Google says more app integration will be added in the future.

How the New Integrations Work

YouTube Music : Users can ask AI Mode to create a playlist based on their mood, favorite genre or any occasion. Once it's ready the playlist is automatically saved to your YouTube Music library.

Instacart : Users can ask AI Mode to suggest meals or make a grocery list. After choosing their preferred store, it will add all the required items directly to your Instacart cart so it's ready for checkout.

Canva: If users need design ideas then they can just ask AI Mode. It can find matching Canva templates and bring them up, making it easier to start your project.
