YouTube launched Brand Connect and Podcast Features for creators in India

YouTube has launched new features for podcasters and creators in India. The new features include Brand Connect and podcast features. Brand Connect is a platform that connects brands with creators to create branded content. It allows creators to earn money by creating branded content for brands. The podcast feature allows creators to upload audio-only content to YouTube and monetize it. These features are expected to help creators earn more money and grow their audience.      

To participate in the YouTube Brand Connect platform, your channel must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements.

1. Be at least 18 years old.
2. Be a part of the YouTube Partner Program and eligible for revenue sharing from ads and YouTube premium.
3. Be based in India.
4. Have no Community Guidelines Strikes.

The YouTube Brand Connect platform is currently in beta and only available to a small group of creators. Once you meet the eligibility criteria, you can turn on the feature by following these steps:

1. Sign in to YouTube Studio using a computer or mobile device.
2. Click on the Earn tab.
3. Click on the Brand Connect tab. This tab will only appear if your channel is eligible.
4. Click on Get started or Let’s Go.
5. Review and accept the YouTube Brand Connect Module.
