Apple launches festive edition AirPods 5 in India, here's what's special

Apple has launched a special edition of the AirPods 5 in India for the festive season. The new earbuds come with a rangoli design engraved on the front of the charging case, giving it a festive look. Priced at Rs. 17,900, the special edition will be available in limited quantities through the Apple Store website, the Apple Store app and selected Apple retail stores.

Apart from the new design the earbuds offer the same features as the regular model. They come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). According to Apple, it is up to 1.5 times better than the previous generation. They also offer improved sound quality, Adaptive EQ and an open ear design for comfortable use throughout the day. The earbuds support Live Translation through Apple Intelligence but the feature is available in only selected languages.

Here, users can adjust the volume with swipe gesture on the earbuds. The wireless charging case offers up to 22 hours of battery life with ANC turned on. It also has a built-in speaker to help users find it through Apple's Find My feature. Users can charge with an Apple Watch charger or a compatible Qi wireless charger. Lastly, Apple's official festive campaign in India will run from October 11^th to November 11^th 2026 where buyers can get cashback deals, No cost EMI, and many others depending on users eligibility.
